| Ignalina Nuclear Power Plant Regional Development Agency implements a sub-project „Strengthening of Capacity and Sharing of Experience Seeking to Develope Tourism in Ignalina District", co-finansed by the Republic of Lithuania and Norwegian financial mechanism unther the subsidies scheme "Trasfer of Experience and Strengthening of Cooperation among Local, Regional and Euroregional Partners in Lithuania and Norway". Duration of sub-project's implementation - 10 months (from the 1st of November 2009 till the 30th of August 2010). The tasks of sub-project – sharing of experience between the Lithuanian and Norwegian local partners, seeking to develope the recreational tourism in Ignalina district, gaining the lacked capacities and foundation of tourism development council. This council, together with Norwegian partners and professional preparators of the strategical documents from Norway; it would participate actively in preparation of a possibility study "Creation of the tourism and active reacreation centre in Ažušilė landscape reservation. The activities of sharing the experience and trainings would be targeted to stimulation of sustainable development - better use and control of resources while developing the recreational tourism in the district and the specific territory - in Ažušilė lansdskape reservation.
