The Ignalina Business Information center is a non-profit organization, in advantage conditions providing Business Management services for start up entrepreneurs, Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises

The Center was established on 27, December 2001. The shareholders and founders are the Ignalina district Municipality and the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Lithuania.

The activities of the Center are providing information and practical support in the form of Consultation and Training to encourage the establishment of new enterprises in the district and to assist existing Business to develop and grow, to adjust to changing market conditions and become more efficient.

Center activities are:

• Stimulate social economical activity in district;
• Stimulate establishment new job places and support for enterprises to develop activities
• Search that as much as possible new economy subjects could become stronger during the first year activity, got enough recourses and experience to develop business;
• Stimulate new technology and science, news implementation in business;
• Help to find sponsors from Lithuania and International organizations, enterprises, physical persons, Funds and Programmes and technical support for the Center activity;
• Help to get contacts with potential Business partners, provide consulting in preparation Business development and investment projects;
• Gets up entrepreneurs skills in Business management;
• Declare new economical ideas in society;
• Have partnership with other Business Information Centers in Lithuania and abroad;
• Implement other law statements allowed activities, connected to the Center purpose and tasks implementation;
• Implementing centers purposes and tasks, execute economical activity.
